The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press (RCFP) is a non-profit organization providing free legal assistance to journalists. Its most significant activities are to promote FOI (freedom of information) in America, thanks to the publication of its Open Government Guide. The guide reviews the open records and open meetings laws in each states of the US. It is accessible through the website.
Moreover, the website features bi-weekly podcasts on current media law topics. However, the site by itself fails to keep the viewer interested. Not because the content is not good enough, but because of its layout. Indeed the fonts are very small, making it difficult to read, especially the ones for the links, displayed in blue on the right side. In addition, the reader has to scroll down the page for a very long time to access the latest information. Perhaps, it would have been better to simply create a link called latest articles, from where the list of all the articles’ titles would be displayed.
